The Smallest Sales Tip You Can Do...Today

It's called the "5 Person Follow Up Sprint" .

Most people have no idea how many sales conversations they are ignoring on a daily basis. This is partly due to noise, bandwidth, and also just not recognizing how a lead becomes a client!

Don't forget about Sunday's class on Sales Instincts. Be sure to register!

The truth is, if you're online or in your inbox, you're probably swimming in leads and don't even know it. The whole "I need leads" is usually not the source of the problem. It's the sales instincts you need to turn leads into clients effortlessly!

You can do the 5 Person Sprint either in your inbox or in your DMs. Doesn't matter.

  • Step 1: Find five people that recently engaged with you in some form.
  • Step 2: Catch up on the convo or topic. In many cases, it has nothing to do with sales. That's okay.
  • Step 3: Write to them. You can choose from one of the following ideas...

If the conversation was related to purchasing, choose one of these....

  1. “Hey! I saw you were interested in [topic] - are you still working on that right now?”
  2. “Hey! Just circling back - did you want to pick this up again?”
  3. “If I created a quick solution for [painful, specific problem] - would you want it?”
  4. “Quick reminder: the fastest way to get [specific result] is still [your offer].”
  5. “I have 3 spots today for a quick 10-minute audit on your [webinar / offer / funnel / copy] - would you like me to save you a spot?”

If the conversation had nothing to do with purchasing, choose one of these....

  1. “Hey! You popped into my mind - how did their project/situation end up going?” (People love closing loops. This often leads right back into their goals.)
  2. “Random question - are you still focused on topic they mentioned before?
    (Soft entry, zero pressure.)
  3. “Saw something today that reminded me of our convo about topic. How are things going on your end?” (Warm, human, authentic.)
  4. “How’s business/life been treating you lately? Anything exciting you’re leaning into?” (This invites them to reveal current needs or struggles.)
  5. “I’m doing a quick connection sprint today and realized we haven’t caught up in a bit - what are you working on right now?” (Simple. Direct. Opens the door without selling.)

Don't overthink it!

And once you're done, make sure you've got Sunday night @ 7pm ET reserved on your calendar. It's going to be so good!

xx Julie & Cathy

This was straight from the mouth of a student I'm currently coaching. For months, I walked this student (and a few others) through the step-by-step plan of launching a coaching business. And I find that people LOVE when I'm teaching things like: Building a website Launching a funnel Creating a free offer But whenever I get to the step that says, "Work your daily sales activities..." eyes glaze over. People stop listening, or listen but don't take action. On this particular morning, I opened...
