It's amazing the hoops we jump through to avoid the things that move the needle in business. 😂 (Julie here writing this morning)... On the webinar the other night - which you should watch if you haven't yet! - there was a lot of chatter in the group chat about avoidance and procrastination when it comes to sales.
Raise your hand if you've said (or thought) one of those. People blame the MECHANISM as the reason all the time. Sounds logical right?
But... stay with me here... what if it has nothing to do with the mechanism of selling at all, but the fact that selling itself is an uncomfortable activity you'd rather just avoid? 🫣 Let's look at each one for a minute. DM sales. My client Lynette closes nearly $600,000 a year in sales from DM conversations ... that start with a comment about her recipes. She is posting organically on social and people are interacting with content that might not even be business related, and a few weeks later... they are a client. Sales calls. People imagine long drawn out calls that zap your energy and fill your calendar, but what if you could have a 22 minute conversation that leads to a $3000 + sale? Webinars. This one is a bigger. My client Sara spent MONTHS avoiding this strategy because she's a teacher at heart and doesn't like the vibe of webinars. She sent me a message just a few days ago thanking me for pushing her to do it as she'd just crossed six figures in sales. It's not the mechanism. It's the discomfort you feel in the sales conversation, and that is EASILY fixable. Right now sales might be awkward, heavy, difficult because you're relying on a script, don't really know what to say when odd objections come up, or hate rejection (who doesn't). If we remove all that, get you confidently having sales conversations that feel easy and helpful, my guess is that it won't matter what container the sale comes in, you'll be happy to engage! But it doesn't happen by magic. Action is the only antidote here. And we've designed Easiest Yes! to be like driving school for sales.

I ran one of my most recent sales calls through this one GPT. I'll show you a moment where it flagged I was supporting the sale and one where I misstepped. Look at how cool this GPT works (it's modeling Module 1 Lesson 3 about using a Yes meter). I uploaded the transcript and it summarized key moments, showing where the buyer was in the journey, and how I either helped or hindered her process at arriving at her own decision. The goal here is to equip you with the education you need (that you can embody) so that we can get those sales instincts working, no matter where the conversation is happening.
